About the syllabus content - Concentrating on portable plain text files instead of binary format: ude of Editor and mindset "information as text" in computer science. - The CR LF and ASCII are related to concentrating on interoperability and common communicating between different operating systems (team work; Git): POSIX and LF conventions, using US-ASCII filename conventions etc. - Git is not included due to time constrains and hours available. - The IETF, IANA, RFC are only ecxplained as terms "to know", and in very high level understanding of the overall Interner Governance (like assigned port numbers: IANA). - Understadning HTTP and URL in general; plus how it relates to Web pages that is: they are text too. - What should be left out - What should be added - What information is unnecessary
